For learners

What is HUDSUPP? HUDSUPP is a small desktop app that sits beside your music software and shows step-by-step guides, called Blueprints, from independent creators. You follow the steps while you make your track, so you learn as you work.

Does it work with my DAW and computer? The HUD runs on Mac and Windows. It sits beside your DAW and does not connect to it or change your projects. Blueprints are tagged by DAW, including Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools and Bitwig, so you can find ones that match your software.

Is it free? The app is free, and so are the free Blueprints. Paid Blueprints come through a Creator Pass or a 1:1 pass.

What is a Creator Pass? A one-time payment of not available that unlocks all of one creator's paid Blueprints, including new ones they publish later. You keep that access permanently.

What do I see before I buy? On a paid Blueprint, steps 1 and 2 are readable in full. Later steps unlock when you buy access.

What is a 1:1 pass? A personal package from one creator for not available. You agree what is included, how many Blueprints and the time frame in a message thread, and the creator sends an offer card. You pay from the card, and it locks once you do.

How do I pay? On the website, by UPI, card or netbanking, in rupees. Payments work for India only for now. You buy on the website, not inside the HUD.

My UPI payment says pending. What now? Wait. Access unlocks automatically once the payment is confirmed. If money was debited and access did not unlock, email support@hudsupp.com with your payment reference.

Can I get a refund? Yes, within 7 days of purchase. 1:1 passes have one extra rule, explained on the Refund and Cancellation Policy page.

How do I get a Blueprint into the HUD? Tap Open in HUDSUPP on the Blueprint page. If the app is not installed, you will be taken to the download page.

Can I make my own Blueprints? Yes. Anyone can create private Blueprints for personal use. Only approved creators can publish and sell.

Who can see my details? Creators see you by first name and last initial only. We do not share your email, phone number or other contact details with them.

Can I message a creator? Yes. You can start a 1:1 conversation from a creator's profile. Messages are stored, and our team may read a thread to resolve a dispute.

How do I delete my account? From your account settings. We delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, apart from records we must keep, such as invoices.

Who can use HUDSUPP? People aged 18 and over.

For creators

How do I become a creator? Sign up as a learner, then tap Request creator access in your account and accept the Creator Terms. We approve creators manually.

What can I publish? Blueprints that are free or paid. Each step has text, and can have an image and a Why note. Each Blueprint can have one audio preview. A Blueprint can have up to [10] steps [confirm the limit]. DAW, category and level are chosen from a fixed list.

How do I earn? Through the Creator Pass (not available) and 1:1 passes (not available). Prices are fixed by HUDSUPP during the pilot. Your share is the sale price less HUDSUPP's commission and the payment gateway fee. The details and worked examples are in the Creator Terms.

When do I get paid? Each sale is held for 21 days. Payouts are made manually once a month, on or around the [day], and you get a monthly statement.

What do I need to get paid? Your PAN, your GST number if you are registered, and your payout details, collected when you onboard.

Can I sell the same Blueprint on other platforms? Not while it is sold on HUDSUPP. You can still publish or share it elsewhere, for example for free.

Who are my learners? You see learners by first name and last initial, where they came from, what they bought, how many Blueprints they completed and when they were last active. You never see contact details.

How does a 1:1 work? A learner starts a conversation from your profile. You agree the scope, then send an offer card with what is included, the number of Blueprints and the time frame. You can edit it until the learner pays, then it locks. Keep the conversation and payment on HUDSUPP.

What happens if a 1:1 goes wrong? The learner tells you in the thread and you have 7 days to fix it. If it is not fixed, HUDSUPP reviews the offer card and thread and decides on a full, partial or no refund.

Can I use someone else's music or presets in a Blueprint? No. Do not include copyrighted material you have no right to use. Audio previews must be your own work, or material you are free to use.

What if I leave? You may request a deactivation of your public account by reaching out to us on support@hudsupp.com. You posted blueprints will remain as part of HUDSUPP. Learners who already bought access keep it.
